Located in the heart of Virginia's horse country, VA Hancock Horses, a subsidiary of Cotton Patch Farm, LLC, strives to breed top quality AQHA registered blue roans, grullos, grulla roans, duns, bay roans, and other colors that are linebred Joe Hancock descendent horses with an emphasis on the bloodlines of Blue Valentine, Plenty Coup and Texas Blue Bonnet.   Our horses are selected based on their phenotype and genotype, with much, much attention to disposition.  The horses we are producing have the bone, conformation, instinct, and durability to go to work every day without issues that plaque other bloodlines of the american quarter horse.

We have attempted to concentrate and preserve the blood of Texas Blue Bonnet, a grullo son of Joe Hancock, in our horses, as he is responsible for most of the dun and grullo color that you see in our horses.
